Remote-Cutoff Pentode
The 6SK7 Vacuum Tube is a metal type used as an RF or IF
amplifier in radio receivers.
It features single-ended construction and interlead
shields. Because of the remote-cutoff characteristic,
this type is able to handle large signal voltages
without crossmodulation or modulation-distortion and are
often used in receivers with AVC. They require an octal
socket and may be mounted in any position.
