These are simply the best of the 6H1N / 6N1P tubes on the
market. They have the highest quality and longest life of
the 6H1N / 6N1P family of Russian tubes.
The 6N1P - EB / EV also known as a 6H1N - EB / EV tube
requires a noval 9-contact socket.
E - for long - lived (up to 5000 hours and more) tubes.
V - for mechanically improved tubes.
They have chrome plated pins also.
The 6H1N-EB / EV ~ 6N1P-EB / EV Tube is a small signal dual triode intended for use
as a line level amplifier or driver in high quality
audio amplifiers. Features include very low distortion,
medium transconductance, higher plate voltage,
dissipation rating and larger cathode than 6DJ8 types.
Many sellers claim that 6N1P tube is 6DJ8/6922 equivalent.
Actually it is not completely true. Basically the 6N1P has
a higher heater current than the 6DJ8/6922.
Please refer to the datasheet and/or consult the
equipment manufacturers about compatibility.
In some application these tubes can show very good
results for just a fraction of 6DJ8s price.
The Russian inscription is " EB ".
"E" designator means ~ extended life
"B" designator means ~ improved mechanical construction).
The English inscription is " EV ".
