High-Mu Twin Triode
The Bugera Vacuum tube is a miniature type
used as a phase inverter or push-pull
amplifier in ac/dc radio equipment and as a
multivibrator or oscillator in industrial control
devices. It is also used as a combined vertical
oscillator and vertical-deflection amplifier, and as a
horizontal-deflection oscillator in tv receivers.
The BUGERA 12AU7 is a premium grade version to substitute
modern standard 12AU7s in any amp and position.
It provides high levels of gain and low output impedance,
with superior reliability and consistency and also
features an extremely open and expressive tonal spectrum,
with a balanced and smooth frequency response.
All Bugera tubes are subject to rigorous quality tests
such as a 48-hour burn-in test and their vibration table
test. These tubes are also used in High End Audio
headphone preamplifiers as well as Guitar and Bass
amplifiers.
Bugera amps, manufactured by Behringer, are designed in Germany and put together with parts
manufactured entirely in their Chinese factories from speaker cones to coils. The Bugera amps
are based of the Fender Bassman amps and are dedicated to achieving warm tube tone.
It requires a miniature 9-contact socket.
