Remote-Cutoff Pentode
The Ford Motor Company 6SK7GT Vacuum Tube is a glass
octal type used as a RF or IF amplifier in radio
receivers. It features single-ended construction and
interlead shields. Because of the remote-cutoff
characteristic, this type is able to handle large signal
voltages without crossmodulation or
modulation-distortion and are often used in receivers
with AVC. The 6SK7GT tube requires an octal socket and
may be mounted in any position.
